First Show of 2016 Opened in New Location

The Franklin County Arts Guild opened a new community show to begin 2016 on Thursday January 28th.  In addition the show opened at the new location for the Artisan Depot and Gift Shop at 204 Cumberland Street in Cowan.    The theme for the first Community Arts Show of 2016 is “Botanicals” and includes a variety of works in oil, acrylic, paper and watercolor.  All works are contributions from artists from the area.  The Guild will celebrate the opening of these new shows in a new venue with a reception on Friday January 29th at the new location at 5 pm.  All Franklin County residents are cordially invited to attend the reception.

The Franklin County Arts Guild invites original contributions from Franklin County artists of all ages in any media for inclusion in its Community Arts Shows at the Artisan Depot. The Guild will be announcing the Community Show themes for 2016 in the coming weeks. All work must be submitted ready for display.  In addition all work must be submitted at the Artisan Depot in Cowan during the intake period during business hours.  Membership in the Guild is not required for these shows.
