8th Annual Dogwood Festival

The 8th Annual Dogwood Festival in Winchester, TN will take place May 4-5-6, 2012 on the Winchester Square and promises to be a festive occasion for all. It’s theme this year is Mexico/ Cinco de Mayo. The Franklin County Arts Guild K-12 Kids Art Show will be on display this year at  San Miguel’s Coffee Shop on the square. Thank you San Miguel for offering us your beautiful space to exhibit some wonderful art created by the kids from our Franklin County Schools. Thank you Louise and all the volunteers for organizing, setting up and staffing the show.

FCAG members Diana Lamb and Frances Perea will share a booth adjacent to the Wishing Well. Diana will be providing Mexican themed costumes for those wishing to dress up and have their picture taken. Frances will be dressed as the famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and has created some festive hair accessories. Face painting will be available. Hope to see you all down there! Looks like the weather is going to cooperate too!
