The Cowan Railroad Museum and the Cowan Center for the Arts will be hosts to the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition The Way We Worked. The exhibit will take place March 10 through April 21, 2012 in Cowan, TN and will explore the professions and the people that sustain American society.
Volunteers are needed to help staff the exhibit. The Center is also looking for a candle maker, soap maker, blacksmith, wood carver, basket weaver, cane chair seat maker, yarn spinner, weaver and others who are interested in demonstrating their craft on opening day March 10, 10:00-4:00 pm in the parking lot.
